Not sure what the power level differences are on the two -can't remember at the moment but im sure someone else will. Mileage isn't anything to brag about. I saw maybe 1-2 mpg more. Helped recover my losses some from the bigger tires. I have a Diablosport Predator that just showed up this week that im chompin at the bit to go download so i'll let you know how that works as well. I would love to have a Smarty but don't need it with what I already have so can't justify the price. You definately need guages with the Smarty so just remember that by the time you get everything the Edge will end up being significantly less money.
