Hooking up Quad Race to Commander Question

I started w/ my Commander & have had it in for a month or so. I just got a Race Module & got it all installed except for the dial. I thought that you could use the Commander to control their modules w/o buying a seperate harness. Am I wrong? I was even thinking I might have missed the "spare" harness so I went back out & looked again & I just can't find any extras.

No, you're not wrong. The plug should already be on the Commander harness. I believe its the square, black 4-pin plug. It just snaps into the Xzillaraider box.

Yep! I did get the warning stuff fixed last night. I think one of the plugs wasn't pushed in all the way or something. Not sure which one though because I unhooked everything when it went wrong. I'm going to look in the morning to see where the hook-up is on the Commander so I won't need this switch anymore.

I actually prefer the switch. Mine's mounted just to left of the steering column and is a heckuva lot more accessible than my dash-mounted Commander. Plus, it's solid, where the Commander mount flexes. I have to "grab" the Commander to push a button. YMMV! Quad makes nice stuff.

I have the A-pillar mount and its solid as a rock. But I'm going to keep Quads rotary switch and adapt it to control my lights.
