Holy Black Smoke, Thanks Bullydog

Finally, after 3 days of trying, Bulldog emailed me the 2.4.1 version. WOW, I see what everyone was talking about. The only problem was I installed it minutes before I left for work so I didn't get to play with it. I saw someone post a question about running a Predator presure box with the new program but couldn't find it. I have one installed and haven't taken it off yet for lack of time, but I'm hear to tell you, in Performance mode or Extreme mode it gets after it, lots of smoke. I have a Magnaflow 7" and I set off the alarm on the TransAm across the street when I left .

What do you guys think about the pressure box with the BD. Also, I posted before about only building 20lb of boost. My peak boost is now up to 27lbs. I just got in my boost fooler, (2 hours after I left for work ) shouldn't it get me up to 32lbs or so.

Lets be careful here.

BD is a diesel performance company...they sell modules, flexplates, etc.

BULLYDOG is a different company that makes your Triple Dog.

But yes, Bullydog is good stuff!

And with stock turbo, boost fooler and elbow-- I could never get over 27-28. Was told, but do not know if it was true, that it was the Banks six-gun interfering with its safeguards.

With the twins and otherwise same setup-- it will get to 50psi in a hurry!

How heavy do you tow with those twins? Im going with a stocker on top and the s400 on bottom. Also, I didn't notice headstuds in your sig. Any problems?

I hear this and I hear other people say the same as me. What's the deal, does a turbo wear out? The only thing that changed the boost from 20lbs was the Bullydog 2.4.1, nothing else made a difference. From the first install it read 20lbs max, put in pressure box, 20lbs, put in the Magnaflow, 20lbs, updated Bullydog to 2.4.1, 27lbs.

I'll have to wait a little to give you a report on the twins, I have not towed with them yet and am just finishing getting them dialed in. No headstuds yet. I have popoff valves set around 48-50psi. This set will produce 65psi efficiently and support 600+hp in my set up-- from what I was told by PDR. (have to qualify my statements) I also have not done any real hard runs with them yet... that will probably be in two weeks at the drags. These are set up to be towing twins instead of all out HP, so I don't mind limiting the boost and avoid headstud issues for now. There were some issues with the twins at first, but required a little fiddling and figuring them out. They are running good right now. What you describe sounds like you may be going through Nathan, I think you will be happy with the result.
