holset hx50 or hx55

holset hx50 or hx55

is anyone running one of these turbos????? they are a little bit bigger than a hx40 and was wondering if it could be ran as a big single i found one with a 77mm exhaust wheel and a 67mm compressor wheel and a exhaust a/r of 22 ????? i really want to get a bigger charger

that is a pretty big turbo. why not try a Aurora 5000 or a Silver Bullet?

do you have the fuel to light a big turbo?

that is why i was asking and this one was only $150.00 would i be better off getting a hx40??? and all i have for fuel right now is the diablo predator with the extreme mode i have the extreme rkl but i dont want to run that on the stock charger

Those turbos you describe are fragile lag pigs. Besides once you get it mounted up you'll have probably lost all the hair off of your head.

I put on a SB, works great. Obviously laggy, but once it lights it's all kinds of fun. Maybe a SPS62 or SPS66?

If I was buyin a new turbo I dont know if I would get the SPS 66, may as well just get the SB IMO. I dont think the lag would be much differant between the two and you should get better performance out of the SB.
