Holset HX50

Is anyone running one on a 24 valve truck? What supporting mods do you have? What modifications did you have to do for the install? I am thinking of switching from the HX 35 to a HX 40 or HX 50. Thoughts? Suggestions?

It would be laggy on your auto without the right housing

If you search it, many claims that it has a small shaft and breaks the first time you bark it. Some think it may live in a twin setup but maybe not.

Just follow me to the way of cheap third gen turbo setup. It cost me less than 500 bucks total and was a fun conversion. It helped in the power and egt department. Has a silencer ring for those long trips, spools lightning fast on the street.
