I run one. It just makes the driveablity better, very smooth, but really not worth the money.

I just finished making my own. My old 3.5" downpipe is now a huge radius intake elbow. Like spooler said... low end is smooooooth and really responsive. Egt is way down at wot (like about 1100) but the weather is cool, also. I'm anxious to tow and put it to the real test! Craig

Been running one on my truck since they first came out. For the money they are more of a show piece when you open the hood for people. As for preformance it helped with a little throttle response, but no real huge gains.

not a big fan of banks anything most of banks products are overpriced and under-performers & offer less gains then what you can get elsewhere for less $ just the facts! but my sponser put one on my truck, so far no complaints better throttle response , better bend & more air flow then the stocker.

The thing I don't like about the Banks manifold is the inside isn't smooth. I am thinking about bead blasting the inside to smooth it up. It just seems that porting and polishing help free up a few ponies dealing with heads & stuff, why not the manifold also??

according to afe, the reason the banks and the blade runner manifolds aren't smooth on the inside is due to some physics concept that makes the unfinished inside flow air better. as for banks stuff being more expensive than everyone else, i paid $260 for mine which was LESS than every other brand i checked out (afe, ats, cfm+) but it certainly is nice that there is so much unbiased (sarcastic) info that goes out on this forum.

I got the Banks High Ram, seems to help with airflow and EGTs dropped by about 50* or so. Not a ton. Turbo seems to spool a little quicker. Not the most cost effective mod but if you got a deal on it or some extra cash there are worst things.

You guys really think they make a difference on small HP trucks? Mine sure didn't, BIG waste of money IMO. Maybe if your 650HP+, who knows. I'd like to see before and after dyno #s and curve differences.

I don't quite get where the sarcasm remark came from. but ok.
