How do I enable High Idel on my truck guys? Does the smarty automatically do it or what? My Old banks system did it automatically but im not to sure on the smarty? Any help?

 

SMARTY enables high idle so you're good to go.

Your truck will do the cold weather high idle no matter what if its cold, its a stock thing. What the smarty enables is the high idle manual adjustment on your cruise control. If its enabled hit the cruise button so cruise is on and hit set and it should rev up to around 1000rpm and you can ramp it up hitting the accell button up to 1500 rpms.

If you have a G56 you will have to ground pin #22 on the B plug of the ECM.

 

Has anyone figured out how to do this on an 03?

 

I know that my 06 wont do it. But my buddys 05 will. Sure when its cold outside it will do it naturally but i cant manually do it with the cruise.

 

The manual high idle feature isn't available on the '03.

You could stop in at the local dealer and have them go into the computer to enable that option. Mine wasn't turned on from the factory and my dealer did it for me.
