Hello I Need help and I hope some one has the answer. I have a Mag-hytec trans pan Part # 727dd. Holds 4 quarts extra. Any way it is tapped for a trans sending unit and they say it is 1/8" ntp. I have a VDO part801/9/1 , 1/8" npt sending unit but it will not fit into the trans pan. It is almost like the front part of the sending unit stops it from going in to the threads .I am not sure if any one eles has had a problems but if so can you tell me what you did on what sending unit you may have used please. Thank you
