Do i need to reuse the spacer for the flexplate with my new double laminated one or should i not use it?? It looks like it was only there to reinforce the stock flywheel bolt holes. The thickness looks the same on my new flywheel ans the old one with the spacer on it.

What brand of flywheel is it exactly?

 

I got it from hts. im not sure, converter is suncoast

 

I just installed my tranny with a stock flexplate and was told by Goerend that the torque spec on the flex is 101ft lb. The tc was 35 ft lbs if i remember right. It's also a good idea to use removable loc-tite on all the bolts

I think you're talking about washers not spacers. I had the same dilemma and ended up reusing the washers.
My ’04 factory service manual calls for 55 ft. lbs. for “driveplate to crankshaft” and 35 ft. lbs. torque converter bolts.
ATS has some useful installation links and they indicate 100 ft. lbs. for flexplate to crank bolts.
I think I went with 100 ft. lbs.

 

I put a BD Diesel on mine a while back. The torque was a little over a 100FT-Lbs and it said not to use the spacer. I also used normal red Loc-tite on the bolts. Just be sure to SLOWLY torque the bolts in place, it will pay off. A billet flex palte should be a little higher in the torque amount than the stocker

 

Red loc-tite is "permenent" and sometimes requires heating for removal. Just make sure the bolts and holes where the bolts go are oil free otherwise the loc-tite wont work.
