HELP...im a ticking time bomb
Ok... So I go to install the pyro today on the juice kit and my luck, I snap off a 1/8" drill bit. It snapped pushing through the final bit of the manifold and broke off inside the exhaust housing wall. I cant use pliers or anything to get it out...what in the heck to I do?? It hasnt dropped (its stuck pretty good on that cast iron) but I know my luck its gonna fall in and wreak havoc on my turbo.
I went ahead and installed the pyro an inch away from the existing stuck bit, but how do I get it out? Its too small to weld to...only thing I can think of is drop the turbo and use a punch and try and punch it through and fall into the collector. Any JBweld go to 1000* or so? Its pretty good and stuck...I dont think its gonna move but I have back luck when it comes to this stuff.

loosen turbo bolts. drop it down about 1/4 inch. put in cardboard between turbo and manifold. Punch out bit. use a magnet to attach to bit. then gently pull carboard and bit out. Did the same thing last year.

yeh, I would be scared it would go through a heat cycle and come loose. I know drill bits are hardened steel, but could you try drilling it out with a larger bit?

If you have a muffler shop close to you, run it down to them and they should be able to weld it up. They have a special rod for filling holes and the slag will not fall in the manifold. That what I did.

I had a similiar problem a while ago, although my bit didn't snap off I just drilled it wrong. Bought a whole new manifold altogether and made sure I drilled it right that time.

If it is broke off flush or recessed take a center punch to it. Place the punch half on the bit and half on the manifold. Wack it a few times then repeat the process a couple mre times around the bit. Should lock it right in place.
