Question Help with block warmer cord - newbie Q!

I have a Cummins 2500 2005.... A newbie questions for all you experts!!

I've just moved from FL to MN and have purchased the block warmer cord, but can't find tech notes as to where on the block the plug is for the cord... I'd rather not pay an hour labor for a plug which will take a few seconds to install!!

It is a long story but here is a picture of the plug. The motor was out and had a chance to take pictures. It is just behind the oil filter.

Mine just had a "thumb" screw cap, like a coke bottle. Just unscrewed it and screwed in the cord. I did have to look at someone elses truck to figure out where the wire tie push thingys went. You shouldnt need a socket set to install the block heater.

Don't forget to use a Marinco-style female plug for a neat installation.

I want his name. I want the name of the evil son of satan who decided to put the heater cord plug site, exactly THERE. And the name of the idiot marketing agent at DC who decided to take them off the engine and sell them as an option. GRRR.
I just got up off of a frozen cement floor, in 10 Degree weather putting that blankin' thing in there. My size 11 hands barley fit, and getting wrench in there, AND seeing up there at the same time.
I will kick both of them so hard it will hair lip their grandchildren.

Well, the block heater kind of had to go where a freeze-out plug could, but it'd be real nice if they include one installed - since they're so cheap.

What did you use the wrench for?

It is a whopping $10 option if the idiot at your dealership has the sense to check the box when ordering the truck.............
They always seem to check that stupid cab light box though! Not that they DO anything like the block heater..............
