HELP with Air Filter please

wanting to hear from the guys that are running or have run one of the amsoil EA universal filters that replaces your AFE, AEM, etc.... i just bought one and it doesnt fit all that well... however it is on there and tight with the band clamp...

i have to tighten the band clamp down so much that is doesnt sit on there around the filter in a perfect circle... kinda crooked bc its so tight... if that makes sense. this ok? im worried it might pop off and let debris and dirt in the turbo.... maybe not..

should i replace my torque tube(AFE) with something homemade? or something i can buy that fits filter to turbo? ID of filter is 6"... to whatever diameter the turbo is... lemme know any input yall have. thanks

Just a cheesy idea but you might try increasing the diameter of the intake pipe by adding a few strips of duct tape. Cut the tape maybe a 1/2 inch wide and overlap the whole end of the intake. It may take three or four turns to increase enough diameter. It may only be a temporary fix as I imagine with the heat of the engine the tape will break down in a few months. You may be able to find a large rubber band or gasket to fit on the end of the pipe also.

Black electrical tape would be a better choice, the right size to start and won't break down and go to pieces like duct/duck tape...
