headlights

Hey Everybody,

I have a 2003 dodge 2500. The previous owner installed some pretty fancy looking headlights that basically shine blue. I'm looking to replace them and dodge of Santa Cruz wants 600 bucks. Before I break down and pay the big money, I was wondering if any of you have suggestions on where to get original like headlights for any less of a fortune. It is a 2500 quad cab long bed if that makes any difference.

Thanks for your time,

JMP

bahahahahaha...

hahaha...

$600 for R&R headlights? A reputable mechanic will R&R a head gasket for that. Perhaps they are charging you for parts too, but still. Please find out where you'll get your headlights and look into installing them yourself. You can do it with a phillips screwdriver and a 7/16 socket.

Nsomniac05,

I laughed too. But you gave me some good info. I was under the impression that they were just charging me for the lights and I was going to install them myself, but you made me think that they are probably thinking I want them to R&R. I will call them and see what the real deal is. Thanks pal.

I,m looking into Geno's garage. Thanks MikeyB.

I will upload some pics as soon as I figure out how to do it. I would be interested in a trade one hit even if I get some new lights from Geno's.

Thank you all. santa cruz 03

I'm waiting on some headlights off of amazon from spyder auto. The lights on my 03 are in bad shape. Hopefully these fix it.

Check 1aauto.com I bought LED taillights from them, and if I didn't know how, they have instructions. If I need headlight units, I'm going to them. Once ordered, if time allows before UPS pickup for that day, they were in the systems and here in a couple days. Fast, quick and no problems with fitting the truck.

PS: free ground shipping and no taxes if not in their state.

Can't you just replace the bulbs? IDK, that's why I'm asking.
