For your nitrous run I hope you set your smarty on power level 8 and in the adjustment menu rail pressure 4, timing 0, and tq management at 4

I don't think the 1/8th is a good test anyway. What if your added 50 hp is going up in wheel spin and can only add it's hit after the 60ft? I'm sure your NOS is delayed and boost controlled so it's hit won't help a ton either. Now if you ran the 1/4 and noticed the same results, I would be worried that it wasn't giving you much more power. Maybe the smarty race tune is robbing peter to pay paul. Maybe there is the same area under the HP curve but more peak HP.

What were your trap speed comparisons by the way. You didn't show an improvement in e.t., but how did the speed compare?

the first race was a SRT cherokee. beat him by a half a second. the rest of the night i was battleing it out with a mega cab with more dont than me. the guy didnt speak english but i took a look under the hood and i saw off the bat, dual cp3's, intercooler, big turbo, mp8, nitrous, and i was able to get him to say injectors and transmission.
the mega was sick..the guy didnt speak english but i took a peek under the hood and off th ebat i saw dual cp3's, big turbo, mp-8, nitrous, intercooler, and i was able to make out injectors and transmission from the broken english.

IF you didn't have tons of smoke before Nitrous it won't make any difference with it....Your problem is traction...even in 4wd those tires won't stick a ton of power. What tire pressure were you running. If you didn't have the race tune like Bob states then you will be short of hp... KS

Bill you must be from Texas. That sounds a lot like a guy named Ramario who I think is from the Austin area. Was the Mega a 2wd, Bling wheels, and 6 speed manual? He makes pretty big power but I don't know how he gets traction with the 2wd....if this is the same guy. Nice guy...def. hard to understand his broken english though..

there was one run i had that still made smoke over halfway down the track, but i had too much timing to run the no2. i dont have problem with traction, i dont spin but my tire pressure was down to about 38 psi. i think thats some of the problem, my tire pressure was up more with the 4.2 tune and i had less fuel too.
