just got back home from the track, I have to say, im not very impressed...my fastest time was 7.82 with nitrous (1/8th mile)
when i was running 4.2 i was able to get a 7.86 without nitrous. what gives?? i tried 4 different tunes and nothing was able to get me close to my 7.86 without nitrous. Maybe my CP3 just cant keep up...but my RP gauge never dropped below 20kpsi. Im sure this TNT is an awesome tune, but its not working for my setup as of now. i ran better and faster with the 4.2 but the good news, i was the fastest diesel there!! even smoked a SRT cherokee
ill get more into detail tomorrow, i tired. i have my setting all written down for each run.

I see you have modded the cp3, have you thought about the dual feed line? could that help keep up with the needs? I know you said the pressure was there at 20k, might give you a bit more flow. just bouncin ideas, trying the least expen$ive first.

the race tune is only about 50hp over 4.2 so, you may not notice a huge difference. The difference in the two is more adjustibility in the race tune. Your times seem to be right where they should be.

I going to have to disagree w/ 50 more hp, like you said and N2O he should be a least .2-.3 tenths quicker if not more, something doesnt seem right

that was straight from beat testing. It's supposedly a 230hp tune.... well, the 4.2 was a 170hp tune.... there's your 50hp.
NOS isn't gonna do much for you if you don't have the rest dialed in right.

I don't think the 1/8th is a good test anyway. What if your added 50 hp is going up in wheel spin and can only add it's hit after the 60ft? I'm sure your NOS is delayed and boost controlled so it's hit won't help a ton either. Now if you ran the 1/4 and noticed the same results, I would be worried that it wasn't giving you much more power. Maybe the smarty race tune is robbing peter to pay paul. Maybe there is the same area under the HP curve but more peak HP.
I'm just bouncing ideas as well. Heck, I don't even own a third gen.
