I haven't tried downloading a new version yet so I can answer that one. Still looking for more feedback on version 309 before upgrading.

Speedshift, several people have posted problems loading new software from Mads to their computer, a driver issue I think. Bob Wagner has helped a bunch of them.

What's the problem? The computer not detecting the SMARTY as a USB device or it just won't download the version onto the unit?

Man.... I dont know what the hell is going on....I guess I am doing it wrong, or not downloading somthing.

I try setup the USB device first and when I get to the third step to try to search for "C:\D2XX Drivers" it says it is not found?

Ok, make sure the USB driver is unzipped and in a folder. Next is to plug in the SMARTY and let the new device wizard detect a new USB device. Now do not let the wizard find the USB driver, it will try to load a generic USB driver. Instead go into manual mode and pick the correct driver in the folder you created using the browse feature.
