Having an issue with a truck 04 Cr twin pumps and turbo's eh injects,tst and smarty,fass, .Initial startup cranks long and blows white smoke, after it starts has slight miss then clears up before its done smoking .Truck idles great then smooth drives good .But blows white-ish/black smoke on throttle up in park .Any suggestions ? Thinking might be a injector sticking truck wasnt run for a few months.Thanks Mark

 

The truck all so has a little hiccup when you rev it in park.

 

Take it to dealership and have them plug it in to an or find a 0BD II scanner and test each injector you can kill each one and the ones that dont change the idle of the truck are either sticking due to bad or weak solenoind or a blown body or nozzle. Are you making any oil?

 

No oil level has stayed same ,and coolant has also. Leaning toward connector tubes possibly.

 

How long since yall have installed the aftermarket injectors? If the connector tubes were leaking by then you would be making oil and it may start small amounts but it will progresively get worse especially if your running pressure boxes, etc. If the 0-Rings were bad on the injectors then you would be making oil also.

 

The truck has been running for a month just got done with the project,the stack consists of smarty,tst.We are going to check the connector tubes and go from there.Hopefully we get this figured out can't wait to see how she runs when all of the bugs are worked out.
