Grid delete and cold start issue

If it is low rail pressure at start up causing the cold morning start up issues, wouldn't it do it all the time, even when its warm?

Cold starting can aggravate problems that do exist all the time. Check the basics first (batteries, fuel filter, lift pump pressure, etc). Other things that can cause rail pressure problems, a leaking rail pressure (easy to check), a bad FCA, an injector that is returning to much fuel, a cross tube, thats not sealing all the way.

Remember that the slower the engine cranks, the harder it is for the CP3 to build enough pressure to start.

what is the point of grid delete? Ive seen so many posts about it but not really what it does or anything. I think I need mine cause it dont get super cold but prob teens or 20s but I dont want to waste electric plugging it in plus I dont have a plug yet and Im broke to go get one lol thanks
