We've had the D range on her truck since November '07 (originally on her '03 and moved them to the '06 when I traded it in) and we're pushing 50,000 miles with them, and still getting great performance in bad weather.

She loves the traction with these tires since Idaho isn't into plowing the roads in the winter, and the piece of mind I get knowing she's okay while I'm overseas makes me feel much better.

Thanks for this review. I really would like to try that size BFG. They look awesome on a truck, and have great deep snow traction. The way my Dura's are wearing I just don't know if I can go for the cooler looking, better snow traction but softer BFG and give up this super tough Dura. I need the Dura for hauling and the BFG for deep snow.

Tires and the Death Wobble! There are have been lots and lots of posts on the subject. I can only tell you about my experience. I bought my 2003 brand new. Replaced the stock tires with 285-75-17 BFG's at 65k miles. I put the Hell Bent Steel leveling spacers on at about 100k. The first time I had the Death Wobble was at 115k, when the tires had about 50k on them. The wobble became more prevalent as the mileage added up. I replaced the tires with Nitto Terra Grapplers (305-75-17) @ 125k. I currently have about 10k on the new tires and have not had the Death Wobble since. The truck has 135k miles and has never had an alingment or ball joint replacement. For me, the tires made all of the difference! I am very happy with the new tires.
