ok, so i have the 4.2 program right now and i was wanting to know what sw# to run. i was thinking #7 5th gear then #9 5th gear and finish off with #9 6th gear. but if anyone think i should try something else please let me know. and should i run the 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 or the TNT? maybe run the 4.2 in 5th and take the TNT in the smarty and change it out and run the other two pulls on TNT? not sure. i am only getting 3 pulls.

why bother with the 4.2 ect. stick with the best TNT. and adjust options. sw5,7,9. remember the higher sw is not always the most powerfull. good luck

 

I'm going to run the 4.2 on #9 and then go into the TNT and i'm only going to run #5 and #7 because my mods may not be able to support the #9 setting.

My last run was with the Wild TM in the old tunes. and i got 377/726 so i am just looking to top 400hp hope i don't come home disapointed.

Did you rent dyno time because it takes about 5 minutes to change Smarty settings and that can add up.

Your not going to hurt anyhting on the dyno with your mods.

We have similar trucks and I have made 100 extra whp going from the old smarty tune w/ no pressure to TNT #9 maxed out.

If you dont max it out your going to wonder every day there after if it would of made more power and that will drive you crazy.

I garantee you will get better numbers making your pull in 6th gear and got WOT at 1600rpm.

My first dyno pull was low because I was worried that I would slip my stock clutch so I waited until 2000rpm to go WOT. Orignal Smarty program sw#9 no pressure with silverbullet 380/780

My next pull was a year later with Smarty 4.11 sw#9 w/ MP8 100% 439/908

Last month I tried the TNT sw9 maxed out and put down 475whp.

Same mods different software on a near stock 03.

Dont forget pull in 6th at 1600rpm and max it out!!!
