Well, I'm outta here! Truck is going and I'm going to

the 6.7 section!!!!!

Gonna try my luck with an 08 Mega Laramie with every option Dodge could put on it. I pick it up tomorrow in North Carolina. It's a long drive but I'm just all giggly about it right now. My truck has been great but the shifting has proven to be too much for me. I'm such a pansy!!!

Someone here should have bought it when I was selling it. Now, once again, someone will be getting a truck with a Tim Barber modified trans and they won't even know it..........

Onward and upward and hopefully nowhere near towards a dealership.....

Congrats on the new truck Zilla, hope it works out for you. I really wanted your truck, but couldn't sell mine in order to buy yours. Good luck and keep us posted about your new 6.7L.

Well, by now you are on the road, maybe already there, it's 9am in the east. You are not quite out of here, new truck is still a 3rd gen, so I expect you will be around visiting with all of us as usual.

I hope the drive home was a good one, hope you are still smiling, and DO expect to see a pic up when you get the chance.

Got mine from Steve White too.

I work in Kingsport Tn so they delivered it to me there.

I was kinda surprised when they called to ask if they could drive it over... they were wanting to bring it on a F450 rollback but the Powerstroke laid down on them the day before!

I had never even considered that they would deliver it on a rollback, I just figured they'd have someone drive it over anyway.

They had a very nice older retired gentleman bring it over that did make me feel better as my only real worry was that somebody would hotrod it

Got it from Asheville Dodge from the same person I got the 07 from. The 07 was a great truck but the shifting was killing me. The new truck is white w/ gold rockers and the SRT10 hood got swapped as part of the deal. Drove over 900 miles yesterday as it was farther that I thought. Ebay said it was 350 miles away but the GPS said 460 miles. Man! I almost changed my mind about going!! I'm happy I did though. 80 mph at 2000 rpm versus 2500 rpm at 80 mph with the 07 G56. Exhaust brake is the absolutely coolest thing ever. This truck is a 2500 this time but has all options except for polished alloy wheels. I didn't care about that too much though. Now I just need some 285 tires..... Oh, the 6 speed auto is awesome! It just keeps shifting and shifting and shifting..........
Greg, you need to PM me with some more info on that thing...
