The loss of fuel or power and dying your experiencing is from fuel sloshing. Mine did it and still does a little but at 1/8th or lower. I fixed mine by hooking both factory and GDP pump together so they both run at the same time. Rich told me the factory pump will flow enough fuel just not at high pressure. The GDP will pull the right amount of fuel through it . Its easy to do this but dropping the tank sucks.
