Getting rid of my Banks Ottomind Any suggestions to replace it with?

I've got a 2006 2500 with the 5.9. S&B airbox with stock exhaust, 85k miles. Just wanted to try something else. No smoke at all from the Banks, and it doesnt seem to always have the power when i want it. Any suggestions on programmers would be appreciated. I dont tow anything over 3k lbs, but i dont want to waste the transmission either. thanks.

My brother had the Ottomind on his 2002 and didn't care for it either. I just sold a VA C3.2, which worked great. You can find used ones for cheap (I think there are two for sale on this site). I had mine for about 60k miles and never had a code or any issue with it.

When I got rid of my 6 gun I got the Smarty. That was over 2yrs ago and I still have it. Mods only make it better from then on...

Can I get some smoke from the Smarty? Need it to keep the flys away when I'm on the beach, and to fill up those imports with the loud exhaust.

Yes it'll smoke plenty. But please practice common sense when smoking your truck, we are already all getting a bad rep and an even worse image with our trucks belching out coal more than a power plant. Use it wisely, take it to the track or dyno or sled pull.

You don't need a full exhaust, your factory is 4" stock. You can cut the cat off if you prefer and the muffler, or cut the cat and put a high flow muffler like a Donaldson, Nelson, Aero, Flo-Pro, etc. You need to check with your local laws or take heed to them if you get caught out of ordinance.

Jr if you don't plan on future modding, Sr if you want to do more mods down the road. The sr you can keep it on the lower levels so you don't destroy anything.

I got a jr a couple weeks ago with the pod. So far, I really like it. Thought about sr, but too many options, besides, I don't need that much power-my boys would kill my drivetrain in no time.
