150hp Jammers & Banks 145hp Ottomind

well I got around to putting the sticks in this evening, all I can say is WOW! this thing rocks now, I can't imagine you guys running 150+hp sticks & drag comp's or TST/timing box stacks!! this thing pulls like a freight train through the rpm's now!! & the Ottomind isn't quick enough on the defuel, I've seen 1500* pre-turbo on the pyro, but I still see a peak of around 36 lbs of boost, may spike as high as 38, but not for long, also have a little clutch slippage in 4th gear, none at all in 5th, but on the 3-4 shift it will slip just a bit. the throttle is really touchy now, more than before, probably gonna have to run a switch on the pump wire so I can kill the fuel from the ottomind when I have it loaded, I was really hoping for it to be a little smoother than it is, it's dang near violent when it starts pulling now!!! I may seriously consider doing away with the Ottomind to make room for something that's adjustable, that or the sticks might have to be taken out in favor of some that are less hp????? but overall the thing runs really strong, alot more so than I figured it would, it pulls harded in the higher rpm's than my old 01' w/RV275's & a Van Aaken/Blue Chip stack, I'm really impressed with the power from this thing, now I just have to tone it down some!! LOL Dusty

I wish I had some 5's, just couldn't do it and feel comfortable towing every now and then.

well the first time she drove it up the road as she grabbed 3rd & floored it, she looked over with a big ol' grin & said, "she'll run now!" & as the tach buried itself up in the red she caught 4th & wound it out & banged 5th still smiling!!! she really likes it now, more cuz it smokes than anything!! LOL I think I'm gonna put the pump wire from the Ottomind on a toggle switch so I can kill part of the fueling, this thing is just too much to try & drag a trailer around with! I'll let ya know how it turns out, thanks again 1qckdodge, she's tickled pink with it now!!! Dusty

BB24, I'm figuring on getting "fuel yardage" now instead of mileage!! LOL you'll be fine with the 5's & the Comp, that's what's gonna kill me with the Ottomind is the lack of adjustability! I think if you bump you comp all the way down to where you still have the timing like the EZ you'll be ok, they're wicked with some fuel though!!!! LOL Dusty
