Gauges/Exhaust

So I've decided to install a full set of ISSPRO gauges. I'm going to go with 3 on the A pillar (Pyro, Boost-60lb, Trans), and maybe another two on the dash (pryo #2, fuel pressure). I'm not really sure I need 2 pyro gauges. Through what I've read on this site, there's benefits to a pyrometer both pre and post turbo. Pre turbo to let you know if the engine is overheating? and post turbo to let you know when it's safe to shut the engine down after the turbo has had a chance to cool down. I guess my question is this: Should I go with two pyrometers or will one be sufficient. If I do go with one, should I mount pre or post turbo? What is the typical temp difference between the two?

I also want to install the MBRP 4" CAT Back T-409 S.S. exhaust system. I've heard a sound clip on the web and it sounds great. Not too loud so I don't **** off the neighbors when I fire it up in the morning. But how does it sound on the highway? Does it drone at highway speeds?

Any help answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Clayton.

I would go w/ just the one. mounted pre-turbo in the manifold. When deciding when to shut er down, wait for your egts to drop to 350-300 and wait about a minute before shutting off the engine. You'll be fine.

On my 05, I did the MBRP muffler replacement and left the cat in place.
If your worried about ******off the neighbors I would suggest the same.
Still sounds good on the hiway and is almost as quiet as stock on the hiway.
Id also do as the previous poster suggested and just go with one pyro mounted pre turbo.

go pre-turbo. don't rely on post turbo for cool down temps. there is a big difference between pre and post egt readings.

Instead of another pyro, you'd be getting a good start by getting a fuel pressure gauge. Would never hurt.

if you want to add two more gauges add fuel pressure and rail pressure, IMO two pyros are not needed, one pre turbo will be fine...

Only one pyro. I have the 409 MBRP Cat back and love it Quiet when I'm cruising around 70ish and loud WOT. Only problem with it is when Idleing it vibrates the truck from time to time (less than more). The rubber mounts are tight on the exhaust and believe that's what makes sound, but just haven't gotten around to bending them better yet.

Thanks a lot guys for your input...very helpful in making my final decision. I'm going with the following setup - SRT10 A pillar mount (handle w/1 gauge pod), 3 gauge dash mount. ISSPRO Gauges: pyro, trans, fuel on the dash and boost on the A pillar. I'm also going to go with the MBRP 4" CAT Back T-409 S.S. exhaust system. Now all I have to do is sit on my front stairs and wait for the UPS guy to show up...

I think your wasting a ton of money on a new cat back system when all you need is a free flowing muffler.
If you're planning on over 500 HP you might consider new exhaust.
