Gauge Mount Psn?
Gauge Mount Psn?
I have a 2005 Dodge, quad cab, cummings diesel, bighorn package and am looking at either the DI/Pricol or the ISSPRO gauges but can't decide on where to mount them? I was wondering if you guys like the dash mount, below the A/C unit or below the mirror. I guess I'd consider giving up the "oh <edit>" handle if you talked me into it. What do you guys like the best?
There's pics of my windshield mount in my gallery.
Edited to add: I like this position very much. The Pyro is closest to the driver's position, boost in the middle, then FP on the right. If you go this route, just make sure that your tubing and wires are long enough.

I am not sure where, Geno's maybe, but they now have a OH CRAP handle with a single gauge mount. I am thinking of putting my Pyro there and then having Trans Temp, Boost, FP gauges in the cubbie hole mount.
jwhip,
You have tons of mounting options on the 2003+ trucks. Here's a selection of what we stock:
In dash 3 gauge
Windshield above rear view mirror (2,3 or 4 gauge)
On dash 3 gauge
A pillar 2 or 3 gauge- this is color moulded out of the same material by the same manufacturer Dodges uses for their stock a pillar.
SRT-10 A pillar, one gauge but keep the handle
Steering column 1 or 2 gauge
Partial A pillar 1 gauge keeps the handle too.
Check our site we have all but the SRT10 listed with pics too. Call us if you have any questions etc.

I have the Autometer 3 guage console pod. It is fine for normal driving. One thing I would recommend is if you use the console pod switch the pod to the upper opening and move the AC controls to the lower opening. I have seen this and will do it to mine when I get time. That 3" does make a difference when looking down at the gauges.
I will be moving either the Attitude or TST Monitor to the a-pillar for racing. My Attitude is on the steering column now. You cannot look down at the boost gauge and expect a bracket winning R/T.

I have isspro pyro and boost guages mounted on the steering column and a autometer phantom fuel pressure guage mounted on a SRT-10 pillar mount. I had the auto meter gauge laying around, other wise I would have gone with and isspro there too. I like them alot, just got to remember to watch the road not the gauges
