G56 question

I was just curious. For a guy with a G56, is there a stronger clutch that can be installed without having to buy the single piece flywheel? Also, the NVG5600 seemed to have a good reputation. Has the G56 been fine more the majority of bombers?
Thanx.

Why don't you like a single piece flywheel? I Love my SBC 3850! It is incredible!

I don't have a G56. I was just curious if a guy with a G56 truck who wanted a stronger clutch, has no choice but to ante-up for a new flywheel as well.
Thanx.

The G56 is great for modifying as long as you dont do something like sledpull.

PD, I thought you didnt like the G56?

That warms my heart to see the above statement, ever since BigD busted two I have been kinda nervous as to how mine will hold up but I have no plans to sled pull, as of yet.

I want to hear good news about the G56. My wife & I have always wanted to live in or around Mammoth Lakes, CA. I love my truck, but a 2x4 is not an option in a snowy/icy place. I have a divorced 205 and a chevy Dana 60 front, and am considering for a swap, but that will cost more to do than just trade in for a new truck.

I love manual trannys, so I just want a little education on the G56.

Thanx all.
