Ever wonder what 950 horsepower does to the guts of a G56?

Well, now you know:

NO NO NO

Not one of my trucks - heaven forbid!

This is out of a customer's truck - 6th gear was stripped neked during a low-PRM high-torque run... that a worse-case scenario as far as tooth-loading goes. It did NOT happen while shifting, and the truck still drove fine in all the other gears, which is amazing considering all the shrapnel in there.

We're on a mission to make these G-units live at the 1K HP level; don't know what it'll take yet, but I'll figure something out.

Same engine on the 2nd tranny ate up a 3250 pressure plate... (don't tell Nelson that either! )

XLR8R,
I ripped the teeth off of 6 gear in my 5600 a couple of times. I finally sent the last set of gears and syncros to Performance Cryogenics in Mooresville North Carolina. No problems since. Great people to deal with.
See ya,
Topper
