Fuel Tank Vent Kit

Anyone have this kit installed?
http://www.innertruck.com/store-prod..._23095781.html
Does it work to keep the fuel from foaming as bad while filling-up and allow faster fill-ups?
Thanks!

I put one in, it's great!
I can fill it up the the cap without all the foaming BS you get with the stock tank. Also, my 132 litre tank now holds about 155 litres, an extra 5 gallons.
You won't regret it if you get one.

I've had one on for a couple of years now. It allowed me to put 38 gallons in my tanks when it was all they way down. It was woth the time and effort to install it.

My tank used to barely fill up. There was no setting on any pump that it could handle. I had to stand there and manually pump it slowly, but then I notice this broken piece that would come into view sometimes when I looked in through the opening. One day when I saw it again I finally got it out. It was a piece of plastic that had broken off something. I don't know what it was for, but now that it's not blocking I can fill up very quickly. Maybe it was some siphon prevention device that makes the fuel go through a very small opening.

I bought and installed a vent kit from Inner Truck and it works better than advertised. I can use a high speed fill (12-15 gal/minute) and get it within a gallon of full to the neck. I then spend another minute adding that last gallon.

As stated above, the effective capacity of the tank is increased by about 5 or 6 gallons. I have put in 40.3 gallons in a nearly empty tank. This gives me a range of almost 800 miles.

The installation was quite easy - but two people help a lot. The tank is bulky but not heavy, even with 6 or 7 gallons of fuel still in the tank. Just make sure you disconnect all of the hoses and electrical BEFORE unfastening the brackets. Also, do the rollover mod while the tank is down.

For those waiting on the GDP kit to do the vent mod, doesnt the GDP kit make you have to fill up sooner cause the pick up isnt quite as "effective" as the factory? Or am I dreaming?

IF this is true does the vent mod make it about the same capacity as factory with the GDP kit?

With the GDP kit the return line goes into the filler neck hose. No need to drop the tank when installing the kit, unlike the FASS kit.

You do still need to drop the tank to install the pickup for the GDP kit.

And for the capacity, its still the same, and the fill ups are still faster and can fit more, but I have heard of people having problems running below 1/4 tank(going up and down hills) Still might be able to fix the problem with a dual pickup (Y ot T going to front and rear of the tank to pick up fuel, vs the pickup in the middle)
