FUEL SYSTEM 2 micron and pumps

Iam going to be running this one in the picture, I fabbed it all up myself, Iam wondering about the pump iam going to have to put on there a Walbro, or Holly black/Blue, (Iam leaving the stock intake pump) Can i just tie into the wires running to my stock pump along the frame? Iam going to need more pressure to run threw my filters. any suggestions on how to hook this up from any people would help me out greatly.

Bolted right under the drivers door, going to change the big filter so it doesn't hang so low.

If I had the intank pump, I would have made it have the ability to revert back to it as a back up system. If it were me, I'd get a fuel selector solenoid, and a 3 way switch. Make it so that your add on pump will run in one position, or the factory pump in the other position. I would also make sure that the factory pump wires are used to trigger a relay for the add on pump. They typically draw a few more amps than the factory pumps. Since I didn't have the intank pump, I used the Walbro from GDP. It is a very simple design, tried and true. IF it were to die along side the road, you can easily put about any other pump in its place in a pinch.

You can use the wires going to the tank, yes. BUT.......I would have them as a trigger wire for a relay only. I am very satisfied with my Walbro pump. I'm sure others will say the same about other brands too though.

What he means is instead of sending power directly to the new pump have it activate a relay that the new pump is wired too. That way you are not putting more power load on the stock wiring going to the stock fuel pump.
