Fuel Pressure guage

I was wondering how many o fyall are running fuel pressure guages on the 3rd gen diesels.
I was told that it basically was an extra guage that we really dont need on these newer common rail engines. Any help will be nice. Thank you

Also, i like the idea of the tripple a pillar pod, so if there is a better option than the fuel guage , pyro, and boost let me know, or would i just be better off going with the outlook monitor, speaking of which , does it monitor fuel pressure??? Has any one had good luck with the monitor. I would like to hear some disadvantages and advantages of both the guages and the monitor. Thanks agian

You can get combo gauges. I have the SRT-10 molded pillar - which retains the grab handle and houses one gauge - boost/egt. It's a very clean look. If you want more gauges and go with a double or triple pillar - you could use combos in any of those three places - so you can have all the gauges you want.. As far as I know, the only one of the cool digital monitors that does fuel pressure is the x-monitor - and that doesn't control any high performance boxes. I still am in shock the attitude doesn't do fuel pressure. That being said, I just ordered a fuel pressure gauge, and am using the single steering column mount for it. I think its going to be nice to have down the road when I start adding performance parts, and want to monitor pressure. At this point it will be nice to monitor the fuel filter. Oh and an excuse to put one more thing on my truck and spend time in the garage

Is it possible to not have to cut the grab handel off the factoy pillar. The guys at geno 's told me i could use just the overlay but it might be a little loose. Has anybody had any luck with this??
