I am getting ready to buy a FP gauge and I was looking on the Diesel Manor website and it says:
• Fuel pressure gauges utilize a robust electric sensor selected specifically for diesel applications. No isolator is needed. Just Plug and Play.

Since there is no need for an isolator how are ya'll hooking up the gauge? Geno's sells the fuel filter cap that you can just attach your FP line to or you can use the banjo bolt to the CP3 is this correct or am I misinformed?

Sounds like you're looking at an electric gauge.
The "need" for an isolator is with a mechanical gauge. I bought a mechanical gauge from diesel manor (~45 bucks) with no isolator.
Installed like this:
I used a tapped banjo bolt from cp3
then 1/8" npt needle valve (1 male, 1 female end)
brass barbed fitting to about 5' of fuel line
then another barbed fitting and a female adapter to hook up gauge (which is a male 1/8" npt)
I put gauge right in front of my right knee when I'm driving (if that makes sense)...that way if it does leak, it will just hit the floor mat until I fix it.
Haven't had a leak in the 2 months it's been on there...did the same thing on my old 2nd gen, never leaked in 4 years...and there's no isolator or electronics to go bad. IMO it's the most accurate FP gauge setup.
