fuel Preporator

Has anyone installed and run their truck with the fuel Preporator? I think the claims are that the fuel as purchased has much entrained air and that is not conducive to a clean pattern of injected fuel coming off the injectors. There is a picture on the website that shows the difference in the pattern both with and without the Preporator and the patterns of fuel propagation is incredible. Supposed to really help in HP/torque gains and most importantly in mileage gains. Also I think the device substitutes for the stock lift pump and maintains a much better and more uniform system fuel pressure at all loads and engine RPM.

This sounds like a viable alternative to using a fueling box for guys who don't want to go that route. Anyone who is using one of these devices please reply.

I use it......

I have the Fuel Preporator on my 01 and have NOTHING bad to say about it whatsoever!

I will be installing it on my 04 next ASAP.

Here was my observation... More boost, quicker boost, quieter running, more power (dyno at DFW dyno days 397-401, now at 417-421) I have done some tuning to the twins and have some other issues with the truck but I attribute alot of that increase to the Preporator, more rpms (at DFW dyno days 2800 rpm, Lewisville dyno with wire cut 3100 rpms and now with the Preporator 3550 rpms) It doesn't starve out for fuel at top rpm i have to let off as it will hold 3550 rpms, LESS SMOKE and less noxious morning smoke even with the Mentals that are now in that truck.

I also am very pleased that they offer it in 10,5, and 2 micron fuel filtration.

IMO the Fuel Preporator is the ultimate fuel delivery system for these trucks.

What does the unit cost? Can't be cheap with its own fuel pump and fuel heater.

NOT CHEAP!!!

The Fuel Preporator is 799.99 definately not a cheap item. I will still buy another one for my 04 as I feel it is worth every penny. I am not saying I don't wish it was cheaper!!!!

There is a cheaper alternative with the FASS system but I know there are some differences in the units.

If you call Charles at Preporator he will be glad to point them out

JCL:

If possible could you post a picture on this site of how you
mounted your "Fuel Preporator?" Also, did you modify the
existing fuel lines?

Thanks!

Is there a web site where I can see what exactly it does? I have never heard of this system before.

Spare tire was nixed by 5" Exhaust...

I mounted my Fuel Preporator on a bracket that we made and welded to the spare tire support. It is right behind the rear diff.

My spare tire was nixed due to the 5" exhaust so I had a great spot for it.

I ran all new 3/8 fuel lines straight to the VP and from the pickup tube (at the tank) to the Preporator.

I ran 5/16 for return line from the Preporator back to the filler neck. This should be rethought as now you cannot fill the truck with the motor running.

I will try to get pics up soon.
