FS 2500 Oil By-Pass Filter

Hey dudes I need some feedback on these? Man the kit looks real clean and nice, but is it's worth it? This would probably be more of I'm bored and feel like working my truck project....the kit w/ the return in the oil cap is like $559..

So dudes that have it tell me what your seeing oil analysis wise...

That FS2500 is way overpriced. Most guys on here are going with the Amsoil bypass filters. http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/bf.aspx
If you ask around some, they will let you know how their oil samples came out.

matego is correct . i like building my own kit's it is easy to do and the cost is about $100 if that is not your cup of tea, stick with the amsoil and the 110 filter if you build your own pm me with your phone number and i will give instructions and part numbers, i type by hunt and peck and would take all day to send

paid about 200.00 for the whole amsoil bmk-11 single bypass kit two years ago. i consistently get 20,000 miles out of an oil change- oil analysis says i could go longer, though. i agree- i think the fs 2500 kit is over priced. definitely not worth hundreds more over the amsoil kits-plus i hear amsoil just redesigned their bypass filter set ups- they just made a good product better!!

Why would the makers of the FS2500 price thiers so much more than the competition?

Check out oilguard, or Racor.
www.oilguard.com.
One of the few bypasses that require the filter be changed ONLY when required by the O.A.
I drive with the same oil and Bypass filter, for 20k between oil changes.
And yes I have the OA's to back up that I could run much longer if I wanted too.

Have you ever seen the 3 and 4 page ads they run in all the diesel magazines? It costs a ton to advertise like that. They have the Banks mentality.

agreed, I'd be willing to bet that Amsoil's bypass is higher quality filtration to boot.

It is... FS2500 is absolute at 2.78 microns, the amsoil is absolute at 2.0 microns.

I love my fs-2500 and my uoa's come back great. The next one I send off will have 15,000 miles on oil. There customer service has been great when I have questions. I also run Schaeffer's synthetic in all holes. Let the flaming begin.
