I only have two Pulls on my Elocker because I put it in at the end of 05 pulling season.. Yes you have to grind alot off the housing so the locker will fit in but its not a big deal.. I drilled a hole in my diff cover to run the wires and gromet thru..

Have you had any trouble getting it in or out of gear on the fly? Is the E-Locker the one that goes to a limited slip when its not locked up?

You can only engauge the locker while you are completly STOPPED! If you engauge it while moving more than 3 mph it will shear the pins off inside. That is a draw back, but for me and sled pulling it works fine.

I assume that means that out is still ok though right? I just dont want to have any stretch of time tryin to get the thing out of gear. Kinda like my jeep where I used to have to back up a 1/4 mile, then click my heels and pray just to get it outta gear.

So it goes from fully locked to limited slip or all open?

I have just received an ELocker and was wondering what you guys did for the electromagnet anti-rotation? Did you fab a bracket or grind/machine a groove in the bearing cap as some have rumored to have done? I have not had the cover off yet to check out the possibilities but thought I would ask first.

Bump

These lockers must finally be shipping as I got mine last week after a four month backorder. Thanks goodness they honored the old price.

Unfortunately, I won't start installation right away. I'll probably be out West for a couple weeks. I've also heard grinding was needed and it just might be for the tab on the coil.

I was on a couple of waiting/backorder lists for over two months and got a call last week that one vender had 7 on hand and we bought 2 of them. Hopefully someone will enlighten us on what they did to keep the electromagnet located.

Yes I ground a slot in the bearing cap to keep the magnetic wheel tab from rotating... And be ready to grind alot of metal out of the diff housing to make the locker fit,,I got a piece of card board and traced and cut out the radious of the locker of the magnetic coil and then used the cardboard as a templit to do my grinding on the housing.. And I drilled the diffcover and ran my wires through it..
