focal access speakers
after much debating i finally decided on focal's access line. i heard the polyflex 6.5 comps and was blown away, and these are a step up. looking at 165A 6.5 comps up front and 165CA 6.5 coaxials in the rear doors. mounting depth on each is 66mm, or about 2.625" - crutchfield lists the front clearance as 3.828" and the rear as 2.97" -assuming this is accurate i should have no fitment problems. i'm going to run an adaptor plate for the front 6x9 opening and seal it with sound deadener. i'd be curious to hear from anyone who has installed these in their truck. i was set on infinity perfects but they're too deep. can't wait to empty as much sound deadener as i can possibly fit into my cab.

I've got Access 690CA's in the front and 130CA's in the rear with an Eclipse PA5422 to push them. Love the sound quality! I don't think you can go wrong with the Focals.
