Injectors
Injectors
I just bought a new 2005 SLT 600 Love it but looking for a little better fuel mileage I went to the dealer was informed in order to stay under warranty the best route would be to put new injectors in the truck this will keep the same curve of power but boost it about 2 notches and boost your mileage without voiding the warranty? Anyone have if suggestions if I should go this route or a programmer/chip?
Thanks for the input guys. I have done a lot of reading on this Edge/Attitude chip with 5 settings just new out for the 2005 600 engines sounds like the way to go. I bit cheaper as well.
The Edge Juice you speak of isn't alot cheaper from what I've seen, it runs $750 without the gauges, and a set of injectors from a place that uses an identical part # as the factory injectors (camoflage) is about $900, plus a $900 core charge on 'em. I haven't done alot of shopping around, but the price difference isn't that great depending on what you're looking at. These are about 65 HP injectors.
