Which fluid?

I'm getting ready to drain and refill all of my drivetrain components, but i was wondering what type of fluid does the NV 5600 take? The book says use Mopar manual trans fluid? What weight is this stuff? I'd like to use all synthetic, which kind do you all like?

dont know about the 56oo, but the 4500 you have to use castrol synthetic gear lube--sold by GM and chrysler---because of the fiber synchros

Choices are: Pennzoil/Quaker State Synchromesh fluid, Redline MTL, Amsoil MTF and the high dollar Mopar stuff.

Justin,
I buy mine from www.synlubes.com
They will have it to you in about 4 or 5 days with standard ups shipping.

Buy about 5 quarts (you should only need 4 though if I remember right).

I use the MTL.
