Igor, contact Trick396 here about how he set up his Walbro system. He made it so the stock in-tank pump is disabld but retained. Then plumbed in the new Walbro with bypass. He engineered it so he could switch back to the stock system within 5min.

Nope, I'm at work on the Miss. River till the 23rd and then, me and DmaxEter will be putting it in. Can't wait though, cause when I went to the 1/4mi. track I didn't have any fuel press at all from about 150ft. till I slowed down after the timing line. I'll bet if I had a vacum gauge, I would have been pulling at least 5inhg. Even then I pulled easy 13.5-13.6's. So with constant fuel the entire run insted of it laying down the 2nd 1/8th mi. I should pick up at least a 1/4-1/3sec. improvement in my times.

Are you removing the relay to disable the stock intank pump? I have an 04 with the retrofit to the intank set up and a frame mounted holley blue pump.
My pressure reading after the second pump is 25psi at idle and 20psi at wot.
I want to further upgrade my fuel system as the holley is noisey and its not good noise lately. I spliced into the original lift pump harness (at filter housing) and used the power wire there to trigger and seperate relay to run the extra pump. As far as filters go, do you guys think the stock filter is enough (micron wise?) My truck is quite modified (see sig) and a PPE xcelerator is on its way, I need a reliable fuel system to keep up. My fuel pressure sender is a 1/8" npt male pipe thread, is there provisions to mount it in this kit, or would it be easy to modify to do so? Sorry for the length of the post, but trying to find the best solution isn't easy.

Wow, yours could be a little more complicated but it can be done. The standard kit plugs in to the factory harness to fire the relay just like a stock truck. If you already have the in-tank pump you'll need either the pick-up tube from our '05 kit or a stock pick-up assembly. Either way you'll have to drop the tank. I would talk to your local service department and ask for the sending unit from the next in-tank conversion that they do. Just make sure it comes from the correct capacity tank so that you get correct fuel level readings.

You can add an 1/8" tapped banjo to our kit and get fuel pressure readings from the bottom of the filter housing. I've got stainless tapped banjos in stock.

If you have a problem finding a sender let me know and I'll try to get one from my local service department.

Sounds good, do I assume correctly that the stock intank pump is no longer used? Do you know the gph post filter? The only reason I'm asking is I would also like to run a stanadyne 5 micron filter but they are only rated at 45 gph, not sure if that enough. (ps, checked out your website, real nice)

Correct, the in-tank pump is no longer used. Here again, with the check valve and pick-up tube from the '05 kit you would be able to leave it in place for a back-up. With a simple swap of the harness connection you would be running on the in-tank pump. I don't see that ever happening but the peace of mind would be nice. One way or another we can put a kit together that will cover your application.

You'll need a higher GPH rated filter to even run the smaller 391 pump. I'm working on a 2 micron solution right now that will handle the flows of the 392.

Thanks for the compliment on the site. It's really eaten up a lot of R&D time getting it to this point. Hopefully it will be well placed effort.

Blonde moment there, the kit is for trucks with a filter mounted pump (duh)! I'll keep an eye on your web site for the 2 micron set up, right now my brain is spinning with all kinds of ideas for fuel supply, you will be getting a call from me about it (maybe as soon as tomorrow!), Thanks for your help and good luck with GDP, cheers, Marc.

How far out do you think you are on this? I was planning on sourcing out my own parts but I am more than willing to wait just for the convienence factor.

Website looks great!

Thanks for the compliment! As much as I would like to say tomorrow on the 2 micron kit it may be up to a month now. Something came up this morning and it looks like the 2nd gens are the next big push.
