first hand experiance please

I know this topic has been beaten to death, and everyone seems to love the product that they have, but I would like to know from people who have run both the edge juice and the quadzilla std or race which do you prefer and why?

I ran the Juice/Attitude and Quad XZillaraider Race box along with 3 or 4 others. Both boxes worked fine for me. I did not have any issues with either one.

If you are only looking for that level of moderate performance box either would be fine. To make the comparison more apples to apples you probably have to add the Quad Commander to the XZillaraider. This will provide similar monitoring, protection and control. Or just compare Juice without Attitude to XZillaraider.

I would have to go with the Juice over the XZillaraider. On my truck, and they all seem to be a little different, Juice seemed to have a little smoother power and maybe a little more available on the top end. EGTs and boost were a little lower on the Juice. Long term that could matter. On the Dyno and at the track they came very close to the same numbers in the long run. Quad box dyno'd about 10rwhp more at 380rwhp. Both ran low/mid 15s with intake and exhaust mods.

I would be towing probably 6-8K, but not very often, once every month or two.
I also would probably run the attitude or commander, depending which box.

Thanks for the great reply.

Is there anyone else outhere that could give me their 2cents.

so thats one for the juice.

I just got the Edge Juice w/ attitude, I wanted better gas mileage and smoother power plus I wanted to increase HP for towing.
It was easy for me to install and it is awsome. I am impressed with it. The attitude box is great and looks very cool, and its not too big and bulky. The instructions were clear and easy to follow so I was able to save $250 by installing it myself.

I have no experence with Quad boxes but I am very happy with this purchase.

Best of luck

I have the quad race box and I've been very happy with it. Quad's customer service is unsurpassed.

GET guages or a monitoring system before you purchase either!!! Make sure to monitor both Fuel Pressure and Transmission Temperature is a must with either!!!

Remember your stock transmission will hate anything over 65-70 additional hp.

Also buy from a reputable dealer, (DTR store is a good choice), who will back up the product they sell.

I had the Quad standard box on first, made awsome power, very easy install, but with the cruse control on or at a very stedy rpm, it made the truck surge. I'm the kind of person who, if it doesen't work the first time then I move on. Quad took the box back and a complete refund, with no problem. That same day I orderd the Edge/Attuide and have ZERO problems, its been on for about 18,000mi now, so to answer your question form personal experince I will always buy Edge products over Quad.
