Why on earth do you need fire rings on a daily driven truck? Just studs will hold over 700HP

I was told to use 3M weather strip adhesive(yellow snotty looking stuff). Not real sure about any special torque requirements.

Well, my person experience would only be that when my head was off and I inquired about getting fireringed along with studs, I was told that firerings have a high tendency to crack (they are steel) and fail and should only be used on a competition truck that will be tore down each season. That was based on multiple trucks having the problem. Never did a search on here or call anyone else, but trust the source. So I went with 0-ringed (smaller diameter and different material) with the studs as advised.

Ive seen alot more head problems with people that have went WITH firerings and Orings, alot less with just studs. Im putting somewhere over 60PSI(probably 70) and never had a problem with just studs, didnt even replace the gasket. Ive also been down the 1/4 over 100 times.
