Finally put stacks

Well, I took the plunge and put to 5" 4' stacks.

I had them remove 6" off the stacks so they weren't so tall. From the floor to the tip of the stack was 8' even. A bit too tall. I'll have some high quality daylight pics Lemme know what you think.

In the first pic, it's entirely possible because they were just sitting in place without the clamps. I got a smoke pic, it's dark but you can see it. I'll post it in a sec.

I brightened them up as much as possible so you could actually see what's going on.

If they were not mounted yet, then that is what I am seeing. I only pointed it out so you could get it fixed while it was all still fresh in everyones mind

I'm going to save your 2nd smoke pic for a Rorschach test. Anyone else see Charlie's Angels? Nice job on the pipes, btw.

Sound good in my opinion, everyone else I've shown agrees. I'll get a video of it sometime tommorow. Not tinny at all, a very deep reverberating sound to it, sounds GREAT in the cab with the windows up or down, and I had my friend drive my truck around a parking lot getting on it "a little bit" also known as fishtailing for 50'. He enjoyed it.

Hey, they look terrific! Just seen another post where the stacks were just a wee bit out of proportion. Yours are spot on. Good job!
