Well done! I guess I am up next, won a set off ebay a couple days ago. I still need a handfull of parts that I hope to pick up at a chrome shop on the way back home from Nashville. Right now I plan to go mufferless, do you guys think that will be too much? Keep in mind that I like it a tad on the loud side.

With a 36" magnaflow as in my sig, it's JUST right. I'd say it's still on the quiet side, no where near as loud as it was stock piping but straight piped. I'd venture to say it's just right. Sounds EXCELLENT windows up or down, but haven't had a chance to go under an underpass yet.

Look Cool, nice spacing. I see a few Powerstrokes around here with the Stacks like 18" apart, look's stupid, not sure why they are doing it that way?
Anyway, nice stacks, nice truck, congratulations!

Verry nice. When you upload some daytime pics, Give us a shot or two of the plumbing in the bed. I`m trying to get some ideas for when i do mine.

Did you do them yourself? Where did you get them?

Verry nice indeed

I had the mufflershop I always go to do them for me. The owner and I would race every weekend in "King of the Streets" when I had my evo and they've done every vehicle I had access too for about 6 years now. Their name is Pronto Muffler. I told them to make sure it was removable, but to weld where neccessary. It's basically a T fitting bandstrapped to a 45 degree angle leaning to the passenger side which mates up to a 45 coming off the stock exaust pipe. It was done this way so there is more than enough room for driveshaft movement. Then on top, since it was getting late and I liked the look of pipes close together, there are just 2 90 degree elbows bandclamp to the T pipe, then the stacks strapped to the 90's. I didn't want to cut the crossmember underneath the bed, so they're foward about 3-4". I'll go outside and take pics right now.

Alright, here are day pictures. Now that I look at it, the passenger side stack is a bit off, or so it seems..

Hey John...
Those stacks look pretty awesome my friend! I'd like to put some on mine, but the 5'er that'll be pulled behind probably won't like it!
Great job!

Now that's what it's all about. Black smoke and a Cummins with stacks! I just wish I didn't have to carry a tool box, a diesel tank, and actually work my truck. I'd love to have some pretties like those! Good job!

You won't get smoke from the Edge because its pressure. The injector doesn't stay open any longer than stock. More pressure forces more fuel. The duration/timing boxes increasing length of spray creates more black smoke. If you want smoke, get a duration box.

I also read somewhere around here that if you have a 48re like me, you won't get any smoke .
Looks awesome and I bet it sounds great too. Smoke 'em if you got 'em...
