Finally done
I installed a 6" superlift kit with bilsteins and 37" tires on 20s. Took me 3 days, about 10 hours a day to complete. Did it all by myself in my driveway with hand and air tools, two floor jacks and some jack stands. It was three days of "fun with no sun". But it's done. I'm in love with my truck all over again. I agree with what's been said so many times befor: It doesn't look right until it's lifted.

Well like I said, I was by myself. I have never installed anything like this befor. I'm very meticulous. And I work night work. So I was basically coming home each day and working straight on past my normal bedtime and then going to work and turning wrenches again all night. When I goy it aligned the other day, the tech told me that the front end was almost set exact. The specs were out less than half a degree. And I drove it for the first time last night on the highway. Rides like a caddy compared to stock. I'm very pleased with the setup.
Bob - What kind of backspacing are you running on those wheels. I am ready to pull the trigger on a lift this month. I am running XD Diesels that are 22x11 with 5 inch backspacing. Local shop has been pointing me towards the superlift kit, and says "if it rubs we'll add a spacer/leveling kit to the front." Are you having any rubbing issues? I'm wanting to run 37s but don't really want to do the spacer on the front. Truck looks sweet man!

The wheels are 20x10. The manufacturer's website (Diamo) claims 5.03" of backspacing. The tires are 37x13.50 and with the 6" superlift I have no rubbing at all. I tried. Can't even get it close to rubbing. At full lock there is about 2" of space between the tire and the rear of the fender closest to the driver/passenger door. The clearance to the front side of the fender is much more. There is plenty of clearance at the torque arms as well.
On a side note:
I originally was leaning towards the Revtek 6" kit. The Salesman told me that for a Dodge , Superlift can't be beat. That coming from a competitor sold me on the kit. Plus, where I got my front end alignment done, the shop owner also has a Dodge. He has a 4" kit. He told me he had tried three different kits and had driveline and other issues that could not be corrected. Upon installing the Superlift kit, he said the ride quality was better than stock and that he will only sell Superlift products to his customers from that point forward. He also said that they managed to correct one customer's issues, who had a Fabtech kit, by installing a set of click-lock hubs.
I have the same lift but don't have the bilsteins. Do you happen to know what the part #s are for your shocks. They're on sale this month and I want to get some and don't know what shock to order with the 6" Superlift.
I don't know the part number but the shocks are Bilstein 5100 series. I would suggest to inquire with any Superlift dealer. Those shocks are a kit option with Superlift so any dealer should be able to provide the correct part number.
Thanks, that will help. I didn't know if they were the 5100's or not. I'll try 4wheelparts. I had heard that some of the superlift kits came with Bilsteins
