A few air box questions
What is the sensor atop my our air boxes? Can it be removed? I working on my own intake setup. Id like to use a BHAF like the 2nd gens. Will this fit? http://store.airflo.com/b105006.html

Its an intake air temperature sensor and controls grid heater cycling - not sure if the ECM uses it for any other purpose such as fueling, etc. but if it were me I would leave it. Or at least relocate somewhere on your modified intake. My AEM intake just had a spot on the tube where it mounted. Hope this helps.
