Which fender flares stick out more?

bushwacker pocket or the normal cut out ones? I have BFGS in my signature on normal 17 inch factory rims. I dont want the fender to stick out too too much yet I dont really wanna get offset rims or wheel spacers. Yet I want and like the bolt/rivet look of the pocket style flares. any input on how crappy my truck will look?

The street flares are a very clean look once painted to match. They don't stick out far at all, but just enough. I have 13.50's and it's an overall clean appearance. These do not have the bolt/rivet look and are smooth.

see that my dilemma. i want bolt/rivet look. Also how does a guy paint those bolt pocket flares without getting paint on the little round bolt holes? Do they give you cap/covers to cover them? or do u paint the bolts chrome after you paint them the color u want them?

Got my fender flares off ebay for $139. Was a good deal. Got them from this guy http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQf...3aMEWNQ3aMESOI

Mine are smooth. Look ok with stock wheels but would really nice with some wheels with a little more backspace(like the H2s)

I like the pocket flares too, but they look funny with stock wheels. Stick out a lot. With aftermarket wheels with 4.5-5" of backspace they look good.

Also, $380 is a lot for some plastic!

The bolts come off, just have a small nut on the back. So you can remove them, paint the flares then put them back on and put the rubber gasket on after paint.

Pockets will stick out pretty far with stock wheels. You might want to consider a the street flare or the OE style. If you go to bushwackers site, they got good pics and descriptions on how far they stick out. Tac

i've seen a ctd with pocket flares and stock wheels, and it looks silly. it takes wheels with around 5" or less b/s, to fill out the pockets.

+1, there is an Electric Blue '07 with pocket flares and 35" tires on stock wheels here in town. looks atrocious, if you ask me but I guess the owner didn't ask me...lol

My flares stick out 2.5 inches. And my rims are bs 4.75 and the tires still stick out about an inch. When I put the winter tires on it looks retarded. Definitely look for a flare that doesnt stick out that much...
