FASS on a stock 04 5.9?
I was wondering if a FASS is a lift pump as well as a seperator and if I am planning on the 500-600hp area what kind of flow would I need to support a twin cp3 setup with a FASS. I have a Stock right now but am planning on a whole load of goodies slowly but surely, and if I wanted to put a FASS on now could I gow with a high flow for down the road or would I run into problems? and if so should I wait until I get to 400 hp to worry about flow or what? any pointers to help form my game plan would be greatly appreciated.

If you run a dmax pump as your second pump you should only feed it 8psi according to PPE. My 95gph keeps up fine, but most people run 150gph. The dodge pump will take lots of pressure. The FASS has 2 frames a 150 and a 95. They have different threads and you use to only be able to go down to a 10 micron filter with the 95, but you could get a 2 mic for the 150. I think they run the same water seperators. Both are available with different gph pumps. I heard different filters are available for them now so this could be different. FASS told me the 95gph was good up to 700hp. This is probably true when running low pressure to duals, but I doubt it would keep up with the 40+psi that people are feeding their stage III singles.

You can get up to a 3 mic fuel filter for the 95 frame. Bout a $100, but you can get them. If you plan on 500-600 hp., go ahead and get the 150.

so I could throw it on with just the single pump I have now and it wouldn't hurt anything? push too much fuel? and then I would be good for flow later on down the line when I needed more fuel, and if I am looking to make about 600hp which FASS would you suggest I go with the 95 or the 150? thanks guys ur helping alot.

im running a FASS 150 on my stock 05. i originally threw it on when i ran my smarty. but i have since taken the smarty off and sold it, threw a boost fooler on and have been running that way for about 3 weeks now. at idle im looking at 19-20 lbs... at WOT the truck will pull the pressure down to around 16-17. the smarty would pull it to around 12 at WOT when i had it. with the FASS, i havent noticed anything wrong- she still hazes a bit at WOT but thats about it. slight haze at idle. i see no damage from running it this way.. im thinking you should be fine.
