Question FASS for a 04 with the little six cylinder

Hello Folks
I have a 2001 2500 with a FASS on it for 2 years now with no problems/worries.
A Very good friend of mine has a 2004 3500 DW that needs more fuel. It is in the 500 HP range with a little black box turned up. Normally it is run at 2/4 everyday driving with no problem with fuel pressure. Recently it was taken to a local drag strip and with the box turned up the fuel pressure dropped way to low for long life out of the CP3. I know there are cheaper ways to supply fuel but I am happy with the performance of the FASS and am looking at installing a FASS on my friends 2004 .

Finally my questions: Is there a better system out there for the third gen trucks? Where can I get one?

I have about two weeks to figure out what system to buy and get it put on before we have a dyno/race day down here in N.C.

Alittle background on the truck it is very similar to my wifes truck
2004 3500 Dual wheel, DTT/Goerend Transmission, 62/12 turbo, TST PMCR, Edge EZ, AFE air filter, gauges for the fuel preasure, EGt, boost, Trans temp (Hot pipe) and trans temp in the deep dish pan.

Thanks for your help. Sorry so long, I just tried to spruce it up a little.
See Ya
Chris

I have the FASS 2 BTW - its called the HPFP-150gph

AND man is it QUITE!!!!! way less noise than the 95gph it replaced. I think cause of the new motor and a few mounting pads I used....

The old one did maintain PSI though, I just need a "bit" more volume

Ramirezh, I've been through this before. The guy I got mine from gave a very low price compared to anyone else I contacted. It offended some people for me to post who it was so I just don't post it anymore.....

PapaSmurf,

There are other systems out there but the FASS is the one most folks go with, plus if you get the full systems you get rid of fuel areation. Gets you a little HP and a smoother running truck too etc. When we started looking for what to stock we settled for the FASS systems as they are complete and the work!

Thanks for all the great replys.
I liked the performance from the FASS I installed a couple of years ago on my 2001. I just wanted to see if there was anything better out there.
I changed my filter when it was a year old and I drain some fuel out of the fuel/water seperator each oil change and then I just run the crap outa the truck.

I am trying to get a 3500 dually down in the 13 sec run time, her best time so far is a 14.00.

If anyone is interested we will be dynoing/raceing down here on North Carolina coastal area the 22 of April.

Thanks again
See Ya
Chris
