thinking of purchasing f1 injector nozzles. any thoughts on how big i should go? i dont want the truck smoking excessivley and still need to tow, but i would like more than 40hp upgrade. also if i send my injectors to don will he go over them and make sure everything looks good. im out near omaha nebraska where would be a good dealer to go thru? is this going to be a good improvement for my truck, i dont want to upgrade the cp3 right now, will i experince trouble with enough fuel? thanks for the replies.

 

I think about Flux 1.8s is as big as they recommend without cp3 upgrades. About 2.5 is the max before fuel economy starts to take a small hit. As far as vendors go, it doesn't matter if you find a dealer close to you or not...they just handle financial part of the transaction. You send your injectors directly to Don, and he sends them back to you.

Imills at MidAtlantic Diesel and Tim at TRE Diesel are two of many good vendors to deal with.

My injectors are currently on there way to Don to be gone through and upgraded to Flux 2.5s.

The upgrade charge is $1100 up to Flux 3 or so. Don will go through the injectors, and if they need repaired, it's around $100 or so per injector.

I added Flux 2s about 6 weeks ago and I am very happy with them. I added an II Bag of Parts kit to my CP3 at the same time, but for normal driving and moderate Smarty settings I don't think it is needed.

For TNT software and high settinggs a full modded CP3 is proably next on my list though.
