F1 or F2s???? Any regrets? What to expect?

Looking at my sig, and planning on adding slightly modified cp3, airdog, tranny, and turbo.... Turbo for mostly street, daily driving and little towing, what would be the better injector? The 40hp or the 100hp? Anyone wish they would have gone with the 2's over the 1's or 1's over the 2's? I don't plan on taking my truck any farther. Just want a "no problems daily driver than runs very well and gets somewhat decent MILEAGE!!!!!! Just a fun truck to drive but NO sled pullen here and no runnen down the track, well maybe once or twice. I want a great daily driver. Any suggestions or opinions would be great.

Flux 2's and don't look back! It's not worth that money IMO to not at least get some bigger injectors. I have the flux 2's and I still get consistantly 20-22mpg. If you don't run any chips at all those injectors will not smoke at all. They are a very clean injector for 100hp.

Well to tell you the truth I could see 24mpg on the highway before. But I did not just put flux 2's in my truck and go from there. I blew my motor and had all the work done at the same time so I couldn't give you an honest answer. My buddy that has put in his flux 2's said that he was getting better fuel mileage but he had 2 injectors leaking fuel so? I think with normal everyday driving and keeping your foot out of it you will not loose any mileage. My overhear constantly reads 24mpg but it reads about 2mpg high. But even city driving I can get 16-18mpg.

Oh, and I already have HTT cooler. So between the turbo and cooler, I should be good on EGT's even with the F2's but, I don't want to sacrifies too much mileage and when I do tow, which is very rarely, it is a 39' Montana 5th wheel that weighs 14,500 loaded, I don't want to constently be worring about EGTS

To be honest with you, I have never heard of anyone getting better than 20 or 21 mpg with their CR when they do it on paper. The only people I ever hear of actually getting better mileage with their injectors are from DDP 50hp injectors, but I want to go with the Flux

that is suprising. I was told the opposite on the mileage issue. The few people I talked to that had run both claimed better mileage with the smaller fluxes. Now that doesnt include there newer mileage injectors that they started making. That was probly 2 years ago when Ddp was havin an ultra cheap sale on them when they first started doin them.

Since you live in Montana and will be encountering elevation while towing, I would go with a Flux 1. They are advertised at 40 HP, but make more. Usually about 50-55.

I would go with whatever Don recommends!

Having said that, at sea level my Flux 2's are awesome. I thought about going with 1's or 1.5's but I'm really glad I went a little bigger. Towing up to 14-15k on Florida highways the EGT's aren't even a concern. I haven't towed in the mountains with them yet, but I'm confident it would do fine. Like Don said though, elevation changes things big time when it comes to EGT's and boost.

I agree with jrussell on what he agrees with which is agreeing with Don M. Lol. I figured the F1's because of the elevation and the EGT's. I just want a super daily driver.
